This is my entry for the C4DNetwork-Contest "fictional Characters" (I hope the translation is correct).
This is Herbert. He just sits on a bench and he is happy. Why? Because he lives, because the sun is shining and he has some sweets. Herbert does this every sunday like we all should do ... just be happy, perhaps it is impossible for a whole day but for an hour, or for a minute ... or just for a second we could make it.
I'm sorry for the german descriptions around the picture and on the bag, but I'm too afraid of doing a wrong translation. Text on the bag: "sweet insects".
Modeling and Rendering done with Maxon Cinema 4D 8.5 and the Advanced Renderer.
Try of Texturing done with Adobe Photoshop 7.

I hope you can comment on this picture. It is my first real finished work but I can stand much criticism
